Utilising our experiences as a firm of Chartered Surveyors we are able to take the information provided through the production of maintenance programmes; condition surveys; schedule of conditions; asbestos records; asset records and maintenance information; and integrate this information within a BIM to promote the coordination of information within the ‘virtual building’ allowing the production of real time information to improve the management and maintenance of the property through its serviceable lifecycle.

A Building Information Model can greatly enhance project capabilities for the review and quality control of project information.

Issues within the model can be identified and rectified to improve the project data package. In addition to this, by providing a thorough clash and clearance check of the model we are able to identify any conflicts early in the design stage allowing these issues to be rectified before the construction phase.

Also, during the construction phase we can undertake digital surveys of the as-built structure at key intervals. This raw information can be used for design coordination and clash detection, allowing any as built errors to be addressed within the model.

A 4D Sequence model is a valuable tool to analyse and optimise the construction of your building. Through the coordination of project information we are able to link projects elements directly to the live project programme. This allows us to provide a “4D Model,” this can be reviewed in conjunction with corresponding spatial information to detect logistical conflicts or inefficiencies.

Finding problems or conflicts in the virtual model rather than on site, saves not only time but also substantial savings, reducing risk during construction.
